The problem

As the bank is creating a new design system for the digital platforms, therefore they would like to revamp the post-logon personal banking with the latest design standard. Due to limited resources and budget, our client would like to redesign/enhance their website based on existing framework.

Roles and responsibilities

As a lead designer in this project, I worked with the business team, got their requirements and presented our design ideas to management level. In addition, worked closely with both junior designers to provide directions and the governance team to refine the design components when it is not suitable with the actual design.

Design Process

In the existing design, there's no function in the home page, therefore our client would like to add some widgets in the post-logon home page, allowing users to view their account at a glance and personalized their home page.

In addition, we have also created several templates which allows our client to reuse in the future:

The website had launched in 2020. Although there are a lot of restrictions and limitations to redesign the website, we managed to revamp and improve the banking experience by adding components - such as adding Quick links underneath the account widget, these small changes provide a seamless experience for our users.
